I was surprised when I saw poodles being brought out by Nurse John during their performance. The animals appeared scared and miserable with the handlers. Tossing the animals in the air, the handlers made a terrible sight. Dogs, with their sensitive hearing, were subjected to extremely loud music. After witnessing the poodle act, we left. A horse was heard behind a plastic-covered fence. Through a small opening in the fence, a horse was spotted in a very small stall. Despite the large open fields around the venue, the horse did not have ample space. It was a heartbreaking scene. The circus offers plenty of impressive acts without the need for animal involvement. If you value animals, I would not recommend attending this show.
